William Truong is a junior at UCLA and is a brother of Zeta Phi Rho, a social fraternity on campus, as well as a leader for the Southweast Asian Campus Learning Education & Retention (SEACLEAR). Besides working part-time at the Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior, William enjoys hanging out with his fraternity brothers and sister sororities and snowboarding! Hope you get a ton of comments on your new Superdry graphic tee when you’re sporting it while hanging out with your buddies!
Sandra Nguyen is a also junior at UCLA, and she is a board member for both Delta Sigma Pi, the professional business fraternity, and the Southeast Asian Campus Learning Education & Retention (SEACLEAR). Sandra is looked up to by many of her peers as a very responsible and reliable leader who puts 110% of herself into everything she does. You cutie, can’t wait to see you rock those black and pink Superdry flip flops on campus!

Hey all, I have more fantastic news - I’m traveling to Peru and Argentina after graduation, woohoo! This is my first time visiting South America, so I could NOT be more excited! And if you guys are traveling for the summer as well, I’d like to share a few essentials to pack for the plane ride to make it less bearable, especially in the ghastly cramped enclosures of economy seating!
1. A HOODIE
![]()
This orange label zip hood will help you look cute while staying warm! It’s comfortable and doubles as a blanket if you unzip it and wrap yourself in it. And honestly, it’s much thicker than the wafer-thin, pathetic excuse of a blanket the airlines provide, and trust me, the planes can get SO COLD!!
2. JEGGINGS
![]()
I am a huge proponent for hoodies, but I draw the line at sweatpants. Mind you, while you want to be comfortable, you are STILL in a public space, and there WILL be attractive men, as well as girls in their chic outfits and 5-inch heels (never understood that part) and you do NOT want to be compared. That is why I have recently become an advocate for jeggings done right. Not the cheap jeggings with silkscreened pockets and seams (oh god no), but quality jeggings, like the ones at Superdry! I can’t seem to find the exact pair online, but I just recently got a pair in stores. They are ever so comfortable and extremely flattering!
3. COMFY SHOES
![]()
Moving on to footwear. I’ve also never liked Uggs (sorry), but hello moccasins! They’re comfortable and cute, and they just make sense. Especially the Monty Moccasin by Superdry. They’ll keep your feet nice and toasty, and they’re easy to slip on and off if you want to tuck your feet under you and nap on the plane.
4. NOISE-CANCELING HEADPHONES
![]()
Crying baby? Noisy chatter? No problem! As long as you’ve got your Superdry Technical Headphones on hand, you can listen to your favorite tunes and rest easy on the plane. I have a pair myself, and the sound quality is great and the ear cushioning makes for hours of comfy wear. At only $90 a pop, it’s a steal (forreals).
5. iPad 2 SHELL
![]()
I don’t actually have an iPad (sad face), BUT IF I DID, you can bet your buttons I’d slap on this super sleek Superdry iPad 2 shell to keep it protected during my turbulent travels!
Hope my tips help, and safe travels to you all!

Whether you’re planning a weekend away for Memorial Day, or just relaxing at home, I’ve put together a cute and effortless little outfit for you to look your very best. Voila!

My weekend happens to be filled with BBQs with friends and family so it’s important for me to look good for the camera and still be able to run around (and discreetly stuff my tummy with food). To serve all these purposes, I’ve chosen the versatile Superdry vest dress in pale lavender, which I would tie this cute lofter shirt in overall blue over and top off with the GORGEOUS Davidson shoes in eva pink. Throw on some stunna cateye sunglasses in black and with the trucker wing shield cap in white, you’ll be lookin’ clean and crisp. Not to mention, the Brighton tote bag is just the right size for carrying all your feminine essentials. And there you have it! A pretty, simple outfit for Memorial Day (:

Colored jeans are super hot this season, but I know they can seem a little daunting to style. Have no fear! Here are three ways in which you can pull them off effortlessly!
1. CLASSIC PREP
![]()
Here, Pippa Middleton looks incredibly chic in the Superdry Powered Denim Slim jeans in Poppy. She pairs them with a dark button-up and a crisp blazer, and tops off the look with black suede boots for a clean, streamlined prep look from top to bottom. You can also opt for brighter neutrals, like a beige blazer, a white-button up, and nude pumps for a more up-town look!
2. TRENDY FLORALS

What better way to usher in the summertime than by complementing the bold denim hues with playful florals? (Hey look, that’s me!) In the photo above, I’m wearing the Superdry Slim Powdered Denim in Turquoise, which I absolutely LOVE, and I decided to match with a bare-shoulder floral button-up and strappy sandals from Zara!
3. THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL

And if you’re feeling bold, play up your colored denim with a graphic cut-off, studded flats or black, grunge boots, funky accessories, and if you want, even throw in a neon watergun! Above is a model I helped style for a photoshoot, and if you want to get her look, check out some of the b-e-a-u-tiful Superdry Strut Sulfur Jeans!
Of course, your styling isn’t limited to what I’ve mentioned above - your colored denim is what you make it! Happy styling!

Mimi Tang, a 4th year Design and Media Arts major at UCLA, has a very keen sense of style! In between interning for design companies, Mimi loves shopping at her favorite stores, including Monki, American Apparel, Urban Outfitters, and local thrift stores.
“I was initially drawn to the Superdry flip flops because of the way the Helvetica font bleeds over. That, and I love Helvetica and the clean colors of the shoe. It’s probably because I’m a design major,” says Mimi. After walking around in the flip flops, she was delighted by how surprisingly comfortable they were!
Glad you like ‘em, Mimi! :D They look great!

Hello friends and fellow bruins!
I know all y’all are persevering through with midterms and other assignments that keep our quarters buys. But we have summer to look forward to - it’s just around the corner! That means beach time for sunny SoCal! Superdry has great swimwear items, both for men and women. One of my personal favorites are the competition boardshorts. Very clean and simple, yet stylin’!

Plus, you can just order them online on your next study break because our discount code of 20% off also works on the site!
Good luck, bruins! Finish strong!

Angela Tong, a senior at UCLA, is a board member for both Delta Sigma Pi (DSP) and the Undergraduate Business Society (UBS). She describes her style as girly and comfortable, drawing inspiration from her favorite Korean pop stars. She prefers looser-fitting tops, and thus this larger tee works perfectly for her when paired with shorts and tights.
Looking good, Angela! Would love to see how you mix and match to make this rustic Americana style your own!

Hey gals and guys! I know some of y’all might be busy studying for midterms, working on projects and presentations, and other responsibilities that might have you swamped! Well, here’s a short study break for you, my fellow bruins and friends! I know for myself, i just like to stay at home and do work, therefore I just love being in comfortable clothing. Lo and behold, Superdry has very comfortable loungewear that makes it, literally, feel great to study in!
Here you see the lumberjack lounge pants for us ladies! I personally think that the bow makes it extra cute:

And for my brothas out there, here’s the guy version of these incredibly comfortable pants:

Again, if any of you want these pants or any other Superdry item, feel free to holla at yo girl for them discounts!
Love, Ivana
I’ll admit, I was a little worried that no one was going to show up amidst midterms and finals, but much to my delight, friends and Superdry fans alike made the drive out to the Beverly Center to support us and went home carrying bags and bags of new Superdry gear! What a wonderful way to congratulate the graduating class of 2012 and the nearing close of the successful SDU 2012 Ambassador Program! I personally had a blast that night, and have a few pics to share :)

Foes no more. A necessary mirror photo of the USC + UCLA Ambassadors!

What up DJ Jimmy Maheras!

Huy looking rather snug in his big zip knit (similar here) and my attempt to look posh in my peached western snapper.

Decisions, decisions. I’m lovin’ the tan leather jacket Bryan’s girlfriend is wearing (similar here) and am even more glad she decided to go home with it!

Who can say no to free stuff? It’s raffle time, baby!

Huy, with the zip knit and mason jar lights (cool inspiration for interiors).

Picture time for Sarah and I.

Most folks went home with no one, but TWO windcheaters! Needless to say, I’ve definitely been seeing a lot more of these popping up on campus! Glad to see our hard work is paying off :)

Going home happy!

Following Willow Smith’s example and whipping our hair back and forth.

Thank you to everyone who came out to our Superdry Grad Party! Can’t wait to see how everyone will decide to style their new clothes.
Until next time!
Ivana & Bryan
So we just had our Superdry Grad Event at the Beverly Center! We can’t thank you guys enough for y’all who came out amidst the busyness of school! Hopefully y’all had a great time!
Here are a few pictures that were taken of Albert, Matt, and George as they modeled some of the Superdry clothing! I foresee a great future for them in this career, haha

Matt is sporting a hooded camping vest, while George rocks a keeper’s jacket (it sure is a keeper!)

George wears the ever-popular technical windcheater, which he, Albert, and Matt ended up purchasing at the event for 50% off!

Albert attempts to do the “blue-steel” pose in the awesome brad leather jacket! We raffled one leather that night! AMAZING!

These guys are such naturals! Haha! No, but really! Matt gets comfy in the big-zip buffalo knit, Albert buttons up in a dressers shirt, and George tries on a bomber leather jacket.

George tries on a blue technical windcheater and Albert wears his favorite shirt of the night, the new york shirt.
All in all, we had some fun! I am definitely grateful for their constant encouragement as friends!
-Bryan
Oh, and here’s one where I participated with them! We look so icy cool in these white technical windcheaters (not found online):

UCLA Google Student Ambassador. Bearwear model. Former President of Upsilon Pi Epsilon. Bruin Cheerleader. And now, Wade is an (unofficial) Superdry model! One thing’s for sure - Wade will proudly be walking around campus in his new Swirl Beach T-Shirt in Indian Blue. “Yeah it’s a snug fit and you can tell the quality is really good,” Wade says of his new tee. And best of all, he’ll simultaneously be reppin’ Superdry and UCLA in all of the tee’s Bruin blue and gold glory!
Boys, if you want to have even half as much swag as Wade, proceed here. Happy swaggin’.
