Superdry Grad Party Photo Diary
I’ll admit, I was a little worried that no one was going to show up amidst midterms and finals, but much to my delight, friends and Superdry fans alike made the drive out to the Beverly Center to support us and went home carrying bags and bags of new Superdry gear! What a wonderful way to congratulate the graduating class of 2012 and the nearing close of the successful SDU 2012 Ambassador Program! I personally had a blast that night, and have a few pics to share :)
Foes no more. A necessary mirror photo of the USC + UCLA Ambassadors!
What up DJ Jimmy Maheras!
Decisions, decisions. I’m lovin’ the tan leather jacket Bryan’s girlfriend is wearing (similar here) and am even more glad she decided to go home with it!
Who can say no to free stuff? It’s raffle time, baby!
Huy, with the zip knit and mason jar lights (cool inspiration for interiors).
Picture time for Sarah and I.
Most folks went home with no one, but TWO windcheaters! Needless to say, I’ve definitely been seeing a lot more of these popping up on campus! Glad to see our hard work is paying off :)
Going home happy!
Following Willow Smith’s example and whipping our hair back and forth.
Thank you to everyone who came out to our Superdry Grad Party! Can’t wait to see how everyone will decide to style their new clothes.
Until next time!

Bruin Influencer: Wade Norris
UCLA Google Student Ambassador. Bearwear model. Former President of Upsilon Pi Epsilon. Bruin Cheerleader. And now, Wade is an (unofficial) Superdry model! One thing’s for sure - Wade will proudly be walking around campus in his new Swirl Beach T-Shirt in Indian Blue. “Yeah it’s a snug fit and you can tell the quality is really good,” Wade says of his new tee. And best of all, he’ll simultaneously be reppin’ Superdry and UCLA in all of the tee’s Bruin blue and gold glory!
Boys, if you want to have even half as much swag as Wade, proceed here. Happy swaggin’.
On April 19th, Bruins danced the night away at MAYHEM, an annual clubbing event hosted by UCLA’s co-ed business fraternity, Delta Sigma Pi. Bruins and friends busted out their best moves on the floor to the rhythm of the beats dropped by DSP’s very own DJ*DG! But what could have possibly made a night of awesome tracks and alcohol even better? FREE SUPERDRY CLOTHES! And indeed they did.
There were five lucky raffle winners of graphic tees and two even luckier winners of $200 Superdry shopping sprees! Talk about some real feel good moments!
Sad you missed out? Well, you should be. But fear not! There’s another bombtastic UCLA Superdry event headed your way. Stay tuned!
Bruin Influencer: Rosa Lisa Chiu
Rosa Lisa Chiu, a 4th year at UCLA, adores her Superdry navigator t-shirt in red! Lisa has been heavily involved in Mock Trial on campus, and this past fall, she was interning in Washington, DC as part of CAPPP (Center for American Politics and Public Policy). Lisa has a self-professed obsession with online shopping and thus conflicting emotions when I told her about the 20% discount code exclusive to Bruins: ”Superdry’s clothes are of amazing quality, and with this discount code, my bank account is really going to suffer!”
There there, Lisa. There’s no harm in treating yourself to a few well-deserved items to keep ya Superfly! Look forward to seeing you sport that tee on campus!
Spotted: UCLA student Natalie Quach on the Stanford campus, soaking in the sun and basking in the fresh, NorCal air in her Superdry Technical Windcheater. This past weekend, Natalie flew up to Stanford as an invited participant of their exclusive 2012 E-Bootcamp.
In between working for a start-up venture and balancing her many campus involvements (including UCLA’s Undergraduate Students Association Council, UNICAMP, and more), Natalie proudly shows off her love for Superdry (and wins free stuff, like her windcheater, by attending our events)! Come out of one of our many events, and you could be a winner too ;)
Stay tuned, and as always, hit me up for 20% off!
I’m so jealous of everyone who’s at the Coachella Music Festival right now (holla at the Superdry folks)! For those of you going next weekend and are unsure of what to wear, I’ve got your back! Superdry offers a rustic Americana style that is perfect for the Coachella desert setting. Take a peek at some of the items I’ve selected and see how you can mix and match!
Clockwise from top left:

- powered denim slim, $120

Vampires (and the Biebs) Love Superdry
Boys, if you want gals near and far to swoon over you, take a cue from the new-age bloodsuckers of True Blood, Vampire Diaries, and Twilight.
So… girls dig these guys for their pale skin, sharp teeth, and… glittering bodies?
Well… no. Girls dig ‘em because these men know how to rock their Superdry apparel. Boys, take thorough notes.
Say hello to Kellan Lutz of Twilight looking absolutely dashing in one of Superdry’s iconic leather jackets. Roll up your sleeves and do some serious work by browsing the leather jacket collection here.
Total eye candy Ryan Kwanten of True Blood is all decked out from head to toe in Superdry gear. Oh Ryan, feel free to take a bite out of me any day. Oops… did I just say that out loud? Anyway, get the look with the Lumberjack Twill, a solid pair of denim jeans, and the new Trawler Boot.
And for all you fans of The Vampire Diaries, I present to you Paul Wesley in the Brad Leather Jacket. I’ll admit, he looks rather vampiresque in this photo… As an added bonus, both Paul Wesley and Justin Beiber are wearing the Brad Leather Jacket (see below)!
Girls all over the world have gone mad with Beiber and Vampire Fever, so these guys must be doing something right! (Hint: it’s got something to do with Superdry, clearly).
Have I convinced you boys yet? Immediately boost your swag to level 9000 and start attracting the ladies by donning Superdry clothes! And don’t forget to message me for exclusive 20% off discount codes!
UCLA Superdry Ambassador, Ivana
P.S. Enjoyed the photos, ladies? You’re welcome.
Spotted: Jane Beck, a fellow brother of Delta Sigma Pi’s Xi Omicron Chapter, sporting her Superdry Technical Windcheater in Dark Jade. She says, “I absolutely love my Superdry Windcheater! It’s perfect for the cold weather, and I’ve already gotten so many compliments on it!” Well Jane, it looks fantastic on you!
Bruins, if you want to be featured on our blog, help me catch you wearing Superdry gear on campus! And don’t forget to ask me for the special discount code for 20% off all your Superdry purchases!
Superdry Shopping: What’d I Buy?
Pictured: USC Ambassadors Huy and Sarah, and I making silly faces in our new Superdry acquisitions. Note: I am wearing heels, I am not gigantor.
Thank goodness Superdry gives us a generous stipend for all our Superdry needs (one of the many awesome perks of being a campus ambassador), otherwise I would definitely be breaking the bank. Yesterday, Huy, Sarah, and I made a trip to the Superdry Santa Monica location to pick out a few goodies. Check out what I got!
For starters, I fell madly in love with this Peached Western Snapper the second I walked into the store and laid eyes on it. I’ll admit, I had a few moments of hesitation when I thought this shirt might look too Western, but in retrospect, the playful spring colors far and snug fit far outweigh any chances that this will make me look anything like a cowgirl.
Now this baby is a classic and a closet staple in its own right. One of the lovely sales associates told me that they sell on average about 10 of these a day per store; I’m not surprised! I actually already have one in basic black and white, but I could not resist the one in sophisticated Navy and Hot Pink text. It’s not listed online (but will soon be, fingers crossed) so here’s one similar: the Technical Windcheater in hot pink.
That was pretty much all I got today… but here’s a recap of all the other Superdry things I currently and proudly own!
There’s no doubt I have been heavily abusing this leather bomber. I zeroed in on this one when I saw it in the store, and when I say something’s going home with me, it goes home with me. No questions asked. Plus, the genuine leather smells oh so good. Sadly, it doesn’t appear to be on the website, but this Studio Bomber is comparable!
This Washbasket Shirt is very well fitted, and upon touching it, you can tell it’s of great quality. I also wore this shirt more than I should have… that is, until my sister decided to steal it from me. She’s super sly for Superdry. Ha, ha.
As mentioned before, I own this Technical Windcheater in basic black and white as well, and I LOOOOVE it. It is SO versatile, SO light, SO durable, and SO (for lack of a better word) COOL. I’ve received more compliments than I can count, and at least 10 of my friends have already flocked to the stores to get their very own.
If you’re lusting for one as well, hit me up for a 20% discount. Yeeeuh. I leave you now with yet another sexy shot of us three taken on my not-so-sexy camera phone. (Missing my partner-in-crime, Bryan!)
