I’ll admit, I was a little worried that no one was going to show up amidst midterms and finals, but much to my delight, friends and Superdry fans alike made the drive out to the Beverly Center to support us and went home carrying bags and bags of new Superdry gear! What a wonderful way to congratulate the graduating class of 2012 and the nearing close of the successful SDU 2012 Ambassador Program! I personally had a blast that night, and have a few pics to share :)

UCLA Google Student Ambassador. Bearwear model. Former President of Upsilon Pi Epsilon. Bruin Cheerleader. And now, Wade is an (unofficial) Superdry model! One thing’s for sure - Wade will proudly be walking around campus in his new Swirl Beach T-Shirt in Indian Blue. “Yeah it’s a snug fit and you can tell the quality is really good,” Wade says of his new tee. And best of all, he’ll simultaneously be reppin’ Superdry and UCLA in all of the tee’s Bruin blue and gold glory!

On April 19th, Bruins danced the night away at MAYHEM, an annual clubbing event hosted by UCLA’s co-ed business fraternity, Delta Sigma Pi. Bruins and friends busted out their best moves on the floor to the rhythm of the beats dropped by DSP’s very own DJ*DG! But what could have possibly made a night of awesome tracks and alcohol even better? FREE SUPERDRY CLOTHES! And indeed they did.

There were five lucky raffle winners of graphic tees and two even luckier winners of $200 Superdry shopping sprees! Talk about some real feel good moments!

Rosa Lisa Chiu, a 4th year at UCLA, adores her Superdry navigator t-shirt in red! Lisa has been heavily involved in Mock Trial on campus, and this past fall, she was interning in Washington, DC as part of CAPPP (Center for American Politics and Public Policy). Spotted: UCLA student Natalie Quach on the Stanford campus, soaking in the sun and basking in the fresh, NorCal air in her Superdry Technical Windcheater. This past weekend, Natalie flew up to Stanford as an invited participant of their exclusive 2012 E-Bootcamp.

In between working for a start-up venture and balancing her many campus involvements (including UCLA’s Undergraduate Students Association Council, UNICAMP, and more), Natalie proudly shows off her love for Superdry (and wins free stuff, like her windcheater, by attending our events)! Thank goodness Superdry gives us a generous stipend for all our Superdry needs (one of the many awesome perks of being a campus ambassador), otherwise I would definitely be breaking the bank. Yesterday, Huy, Sarah, and I made a trip to the Superdry Santa Monica location to pick out a few goodies. Check out what I got!

For starters, I fell madly in love with this Peached Western Snapper the second I walked into the store and laid eyes on it. I’ll admit, I had a few moments of hesitation when I thought this shirt might look too Western, but in retrospect, the playful spring colors far and snug fit far outweigh any chances that this will make me look anything like a cowgirl.

Now this baby is a classic and a closet staple in its own right. One of the lovely sales associates told me that they sell on average about 10 of these a day per store; I’m not surprised! I actually already have one in basic black and white, but I could not resist the one in sophisticated Navy and Hot Pink text. It’s not listed online (but will soon be, fingers crossed) so here’s one similar: the Technical Windcheater in hot pink. 

That was pretty much all I got today… but here’s a recap of all the other Superdry things I currently and proudly own!

There’s no doubt I have been heavily abusing this leather bomber. I zeroed in on this one when I saw it in the store, and when I say something’s going home with me, it goes home with me. No questions asked. Plus, the genuine leather smells oh so good. Sadly, it doesn’t appear to be on the website, but this Studio Bomber is comparable!

This Washbasket Shirt is very well fitted, and upon touching it, you can tell it’s of great quality. I also wore this shirt more than I should have… that is, until my sister decided to steal it from me. She’s super sly for Superdry. Ha, ha.

As mentioned before, I own this Technical Windcheater in basic black and white as well, and I LOOOOVE it. It is SO versatile, SO light, SO durable, and SO (for lack of a better word) COOL. I’ve received more compliments than I can count, and at least 10 of my friends have already flocked to the stores to get their very own.
